Need Landscaper recommendation
 

We just closed on our pre-owned villa and I need the ornamental grasses trimmed as well as the shrubs and perhaps the mulch freshened. We are not ready to have any landscape re-design done yet, but we would like to hire a landscaper/lawn service (we have no grass) to freshen up our villa property and to maintain it periodically..fertilize, insect treat and trimming. Recommendations? Suggestions?

We have our villa taken care of for landscaping, termites and pests by P-T-L and they have done a great job. We don't live there yet but every month we get one or two written reports about what has been done. We signed a yearly contract but after that it will be month by month. We use Deans for landscaping and pest control, we are very happy with their services and promptness.

I had heard good things about stellar when I moved to the Villages in June so I contracted with them. I am less than happy with the results. They have fertilized three times since We moved in in June but the grass is still yellow even though the watering has been done per their instructions. I will not renew with them again.

I have had Stellar for over a year and have never had anything but very good service. If there is an issue, call the owner, Marty, and talk to him. He will fix whatever the issue is. I have had issues with trimming and weeding, but one call to Marty fixed that. He even sent someone over the SAME DAY to take care of the problem. Before you dump them, give Marty a chance to make it right. It is his company and he is completely invested in customer sercive.

we have used stellar for 16 months, we don't live there, but his service is great, when we are at the villages, his crew answers questions and does an excellent job with the lawn and shrubs. a couple of neighbors have used this company for new landscape design and are very happy with the results.
his crew is friendly, professional and he has clean and new equipment.
he is business to stay, not a lawnmower and a truck company.
