This was an email thread going around last year. I have not seen the video until now. I tell the story all the time as it is so good.

I hope none of my playing partners are either of those guys :shocked:

Dan Jenkins, a renouned golf writer identified the origin of this story. Unfortunately I can't come up with it now but I recall it was a shady character who made his living hustling golf in the 1950s. It keeps recirculation because it is so funny and such an anomaly to the usual conduct in golf.

The real question is: What are you doing with his ball in your pocket? I guess you're the cheating ******* in this case, since you found his ball and didn't let him know.
