Good Contractor Experience
 

After hearing some horror stories of poor and/or dishonest contractors we were reluctant to have a job done on our home. We had an eight foot window we wanted replaced with a 12 ft slider. We had three estimates and chose the middle bid based on price and our impressions of the contractors. A small downpayment initiated the job, more when the door arrived, and 50% of the balance due upon satisfactory completion of the job. Once the permits were obtained, the entire job was completed in four days including all electrical and finish work. We used Randy Davidson, of Randa Construction, after a neighbor suggested him. I guess the key was using a contractor who did a good job for someone we knew.
