Who had milkweed seeds/pods?

Hi, somebody a while back offered some milkweed and milkweed pods/seeds. I don't remember who it was, but we finally got the butterfly garden started and I would love to have some now.

Thanks in advance!

Pods are forming as we speak. They need another couple weeks to mature. I do have some young plants. I also have lots of Mexican petunia if anyone is interested,

A caution about milkweed. I've hosted larvae for a couple of years and this keeps happening. Too many little ones at once that eat up the plant before any of them are mature enough to chrysalize. So, the message is, if you're planting milkweed and don't want to watch them starve, plant at least a couple of dozen plants and try to locate a foster home if needed.

Kitty is right. You need a decent stand of plants to support the Monarchs. I will give you plenty of plants and some seed..then you can share down the line. If anyone gets to many caterpillars, bring them to me. They will be fed.

Samhass, you have said your stock of milkweeds is already decimated this summer. anybody else got a lot of milkweed? last year I lived near the bfly museum in GNV and could take caterpillars there to be fostered...
