Good to hear this isn't normal. This is our first year here and it's only November and already wearing a jacket today. But, someone from NJ would consider this still summer!

I'd be whining also if we lived in TV full time! You forget what it's like up north! Being from Canada, we'll be in bliss when we arrive.

I am so glad this is not normal. I was about to pick up and head south for the winter.

Just remember, there will be NO SNOW.... :D

I would be more than happy to trade a week with you for my place in CT with 6 inches of snow today. :smiley:

I have to agree with the temps being cool too early. It seemed like it went from 80 to 60 with no in-between! After hurricane Sand came through that was it. We had planned on swimming in our pool until December but the solar heat is not hot enough to bump the temp back up warm enough to swim. I think our swimming days are over until spring. But, if I had to choose between NYS or FL it's FL hands down. Love it here!!

30's and snowing here in RI. Several inches and 30+ winds.

I can't believe I have to suit up and go out and clean my driveway and walks. I hope my snowblower starts. Brrrrrrrrrrrr:cold:

7 more years of abnormal weather
 

We all might try to get used to this for a few years. As I understand it we are in a weather circustance similar to the 1950's to early 60's. The Pacific ocean has cooled significantly and the Atlantic is in a warming pattern of ocean currents very similar to 60 years ago, in which there were several major hurricanes up the East coast and lots of snow for the North East. How this impacts Central Florida I would have to do more research on, but suffice it to say, things are going to seem odd weather wise for the next few years. So if you still live in the North East and are a TV wanna be like myself, it may be time to make the move. If this bothers you a bit, look on the bright side. After this timeframe is over the weather will be great for the next 60 years!

Luck 'O the Irish, I guess. It started right up, and the first pass, I broke a shear pin on the augur, rendering it useless. Just called my plow guy/yard guy. He's gonna bail me out.:crap2:
