PCP secure option HMO vs Optimum gold rewards HMO?
We been to the seminars but still undecided which one is best. Would appreciate some input from folks who actually had either one of these plans, and is happy enough to keep it for 2013. Thanks

We had the gold this past year and have liked it. Don't have to pay a premium and get $99. back into SS check. No co-pays on tier one drugs. We're re-upping for next year. One of us is diabetic so will do the one for diabetics and heart patients. Best thing though is for you to actually go to The Villages insurance office and have them show you the comparisons before you make up your mind. You'll have to have an app't so you best get on that!!

Every health situation is differenet, so your best bet is to go on medicare.gov and compare plans, especially regarding meds. I have spent hours doing this! This is one area that is truly personal to your own health needs.
next you can go on the physician rating websites to check out the physicians within the plan and their ratings by actual patients. |
