None of those emoticons pictured on the side of the threads don't work for me. All I get is the text description of the emoticon when I click to add it to a post.

I'm sure there's a setting I'm missing in Firefox or on the forum. Can anybody help?

When you reply to a thread and use an emoticon, and then you hit the "Preview Post" button, does it display a text description or a picture?

Oh wait! Now I see the emoticon went through even though the preview post showed a text description. Wha...? Do I need to Preview Post to get that, or will it just go through regardless?

In the upper right corner of your editing window, there is a little "double A" button. Try clicking on it and see if that fixes your emoticon problem. If it does then your window was in the source mode rather than the WYSIWYG mode. (What You See Is What You Get mode) If it doesn't fix then I don't know why it's happening.

No, you don't have to hit preview post.

This post shows a text description to me when I try to put in a picture of a golf cart. This post shows text to me of a colon gc colon. But when I hit "post", it will be an actual emoticon, and a golf cart will appear.:gc: This is your thread, try it!
