The Prayer is one of my favorite songs. The Karakter Band would sing this at the squares and they would always receive a standing ovation. I find myself thinking of the hundreds of racing greyhounds that are destroyed every year because they are just objects for making money and when no longer are doing that they are killed. The lyrics that get to me most are "find a place where we'll be safe" and God Bless all the adoption groups out there that are doing just that.
