Helicopters Sunday night flying low
 

Between 6:15p and 7:00p tonight, a helicopter(s) flew very low several times over our house (Polo Ridge Village) on Southern Trace. Since it was dark, I am assuming it was a life flight helicopter. Did anyone else see hear it (or them)? It flew over Southern Trace about 5 times and very, very low. I'm not sure if it was just one or a couple.

Just passed thru Buena Vista and 466 at 7pm. Many emergency vehicles and traffic being detoured. Did not see what had happened.

Two different events at different times.
I saw the helicopter on Friday.

I also heard the helicopter just after sitting down to supper around 6:35 pm tonight, Sunday.

Our friends were late arriving for the show at Savannah because of a bad accident at Buena Vista and 466. Several emergency vehicles and one of the cars was on its side. When show was over we were diverted from that intersection because emergency vehicles and at least 1 smashed car was still there and it was close to 8 o"clock at that point. Olive Garden personnel said several ambulances were on site earlier. Hope there were no serious injuries but if it was Life Flights that doesn't sound good.

Accident
 

The Sun, this morning, has detailed information on the accident.

With a photograph of a SUV on it's side with top missing. Paper said it involved three cars. People were air lifted to Orlando Medical Center, Shands in Gainesville, and two people were taken to Sharon Morse Hospital here.

Thinking sad thoughts and hoping for the best for those injured.
