Dance partner quest

I'm new to the Villages, or will be when my home is finished. I dance most every kind of dance and would like to have a practice partner for group and private lessons. What are some ways I might find someone to practice with?

thanks for the promo, 2B, but kitty i have been looking for a good dance partner myself for a long time (no strings attached) and have not found one...most of the good dancers already have partners...i suggest you attend some of the ballroom dances and sometimes they have singles tables...or attend some of the free classes alone and you can usually get matched up with someone...i have been out of the singles scene for a while so i really don't speak with authority on who is available now. if you need company to attend a dance i would be happy to get back into the dance world....i do plan to invite some good dancers to the mardi gras party! so come join us...

That is a considerable problem for the single women since the ratio is 10:1. With dancing it more like 30:1. Many single men don't dance.

I am not there yet either, just visiting and have a design appt later on. I know lots of men who like to dance. I think I'll post a new thread about why dance can be intimidating in the general forum. I look fwd to meeting all of you.

I just saw your message about bonifay on 12/21. not quite sure what you were up to, but I've been there a few times. The Christmas tree is a hoot, decorated with flip flops!
