Flippers to Brownwood

I was at Flippers Pizzeria last night and overheard a waitress telling a customer that they would be having a place in Brownwood.

Flippers had better wait until they get their pizza right in their first location before expanding to Brownwood.

Option not a fact

They had that "OPTION" when they came to Spanish Springs. As far as I know they have NOT exercised it.

So does First Watch The Daytime Cafe. No commitment there either.

Not enough traffic in that area yet to draw merchants. We were there a few days ago and it was dead. Just the Villages businesses and a cop car cruising the square.

Heard that too....

We heard that Flippers was going to Brownwood also. We like Flippers pizza better than any others we have tried. Still can't find pizza like we got up North but Flippers works for us down here.

IF they build, they will come!! I'd suspect that LSL also was a ghost-town before it was all built out. One has to have commerce/restaurants to bring the folks in. In another year, I'd venture to say Paddock Square will be a whole lot different than it is now.

We too think that Flippers is pretty good and every time we go it's full. We were at Brownwood today and there were lot's of trucks running around the empty lots. It's funny that no restaurants go into Brownwood because there are no people, but many times we don't go because there is no place to eat. Make shift food trucks is not what we're looking for. Come on City Fire.

Lots of talk about "pizza" from up "North", or "Home". This is your home folks. Hasn't anyone tried "Giovani's"? I think it is worth the try. As far as Brownwood goes with regard to eating places and stores, perhaps the sq. ft price is on the high side.

The lack of restaurants, shops, etc. has nothing to do with cost of rent. It will all come in due time. If you look around are there a lot of empty buildings? LSL was not built in a day...............

I usually like Giovani's, but they use canned mushrooms on their pizza.

But I think they aren't going to get traffic until there are businesses!

It is my understanding that Flippers has plans for 5 locations in The Villages. They have been very pleased with the local response and have been very successful. This is what happens when you have a high quality product, great management and service. I used to have to drive to Clermont or Orlando to get their excellent pizza, but now it is right here in our friendliest hometown.
