You can always find the current number towards the bottom of the TOTV main page: "What's Going On?" section, under "Talk of The Villages Statistics".

I wonder how many are active in the year. That's a lot of folks not posting. :laugh:

That's hard to say but at the bottom of the "home" page. It states how many people were online at one time. You can also see who's online by clicking on "quick links" and "who's online".

I suspect there are a lot of lurkers. Nothing wrong with as I know when I first found this site, I was hesitant to post. :smiley:

The members at the bottom are those with registered accounts. 'Active' is subjective because someone may visit but not post and everyone's definition of 'active' varies. You could say if you've posted in the last 6 months you are active and someone else may define it as the last 7 days.

Also, we have well over 100,000 visitors each month and over 45,000 unique. Unique means if you visit every day you are only counted 1 time. So there are a lot of people that come and read but may not post.
