You are welcome. My parents adopted one of these a few years ago and renew it each year. I suppose a lot of people have this particular manatee as an adoptee.

They are close by, and they are endangered. Even helping to sign petitions for supportive legislation would make a big difference.

In warmer weather, I see them swimming in the St. John's river near Jacksonville. They travel in groups, so it's pretty easy to tell when they are there. The are huge, peaceful animals.
