Insurance companies
We just bought a 2013 Yamamha and the salesman told us if the insurance quote was over a $100 to shop it around. The quote was $147 from The Villages Ins. and was probably from Foremost. What other local places sell cart Ins.

I don't think anyone offers a better deal than Allstate at the present time. My policy is $64 per year.
I also am pleased to recommend them because I believe they are the only company which will cover a homeowner's liability, as well as the user's, if the homeowner allows a guest in his home use the cart. There are conditions, which are described in other recent threads here. I formerly paid about $100 for a Progressive policy through AAA. The Allstate policy terms are the same or better and they offer the extra liability coverage. |
we are paying over $200 (n ot street legal) so it's probably a good deal

Call Allstate you will be pleased.

golf cart insurance

Wonder if you can go ala carte with golf cart ins. kind of doubt it... |
Yes, various companies offer stand alone golf insurance policies. One obvious advantage is that, were you to have a claim for the golf cart, one would not necessarily subject their homeowners policy to cancellation.
Hopefully, others can address the pros and cons of stand alone versus an addendum to the homeowners insurance policy. |
I will never use allstate again in my life

I would think if someone jumped out in front of you the police would have arrested them for staging an accident. If they did not then the insurance company has to settle the claim based on the facts and evidence. Sorry this happened to you but baming the company for paying the claim and protecting you from a law suit is what they are legally required to do, right? I don't believe your home premium increase had anything to do with an auto claim.

Our cart insurance is with Foremost and is about $170. It includes what I think is the most important coverage: uninsured motorist coverage.

Allstate, 2 carts @ $127/year. Borbolla Ins Co. 877-217-7445

make sure to get a separate policy no rider hooked to your homeowners policy. I had a HUGE increase in my homeowners policy after an accident and I was not at fault. It took 5 years to get it off record and a reasonable policy rate again.
