Need new suv tires

It's time for new 18" skins for my 2011 Kia Sorento SX. Looking for all season tire opinions, costs, and where you got them. Need tires that rate highly in wet traction, ride, and treadlife. Going crazy comparing results on tirerack.com, etc. Thanks.

Check out TireRack.com or call their customer service number. This South Bend, IN company carries just about every tire made. They will ship to your house or the tire dealer or service station who will install them for you. You WILL NOT beat their prices, whch includes free shipping and no tax in Florida.

I saved about 50% from the price quoted me by the Goodyear dealer in Lady Lake for the same model tires. They were actually shipped to me overnight and Goodyear installed and balanced them for $15 a wheel.

Another choice is Costco in Altamonte Springs. Their prices are good and they do he installation/balancing, although they won't have the broad choice of Tire Rack.

I used Tire Rack also. Needed new tires (18") all season for our suv and wanted to change from OEM. Michelin and went with Pirelli. I lucked onto a MDX blog site and that helped my tire choice. Saved almost $300, depending in which retailer used, plus no tax. Shipped to my home in less than a week. To early to rate, but so far, happy with choice.

I printed out tire racks price and asked local dealers to price match in NY and they did.

when you but from tire rack, you still pay to mount and balance, if local it's included but yes U do pay tax.

True, but the mount and balancing of my 4 tires was $60 and tax on that @ 7.5% was $4.50, total cost to me of $64.50. I was still hundreds of dollars ahead in savings because of price and no tax, even after the added shipping costs.

I went with the Perelli Scorpion Verde P235-60R-18's from the Walmart.com site and had them shipped to the store on Wedgewood lane. Free shipping and it took about 6 days. They ride really nice so far and have a 60K warranty. They are rated #1 on tire rack.com, especially high for anti-hyroplaning which is a great fear of my wife.

They were mounted free, but $8.00 each for balancing with free lifetime rotating and balancing. Also added $1.50 deposal fee for each tire like everyone else. I know some people despise Walmart, but I figured with their massive network of stores it would always be convienent for rotating the tires properly

Tires

We got ours at Tires Plus on 27/441 going into Leesburg on left, just past Wal Mart. They beat everyones price with mounting, balancing, free tire rotations every 5000 miles, road hazard, 80000 mile tread wear out, even with a 4 wheel alignment was $400.00 cheaper than anyone in this area including Orlando and even on line without the alignment. I have 18 inchers with speed rating H.

Boulevard Tire on 441 (west side) between 466 & 466A.
They have many brands...see if they have Cooper in your size: great tire, reasonable price, made in USA.
