Any new news? |
Nothing new..actually the seminar was misleading. It was not about Insomnia per se, but rather about sleep apnea.
If you wanted to hear about sleep apnea fine, but otherwise a waste of time in my humble opinion |

However, there was a two-sheet "hand-out" that some received by waiting in a separate line. I got it but didn't think it was very important. Finally, a couple of days later, I read it and it gives information on how to learn more. For more information on sleep disorders and healthy sleep: NIH Heart, Lung and Blood Institute (under Health Information for the Public). Podcasts can be found in the online Diseases and Conditions Index. You also can download or order information on the above website. Or get information by calling (301) 592-8573 Booklets available: Your Guide to Healthy Sleep (#06-5271 In Brief: Your Guide to Healthy Sleep (#06-5800) Sleep Disorders Fact Sheets National Center on Sleep Disorders Research: http://www.nhlbi.nih.gov/about/ncsdr/index.htm |
so I'm the only one with a sleep disorder? I have primary insomnia and know more about this topic than the average bear, if you were interested in the seminar, I can tell you about apnea and other forms of sleep disorder if you ask. So-called sleep hygiene is a joke if you really have a sleep disorder.

What is sleep hygiene? Sounds like a bath before bed, probably pretty good advice...and some warm milk, but most of all, the TV on HGTV. Yup. works for me. Until I wake up for my two o:clock feeding. |
