Cross Johnnie Rockets off your list for breakfast.

They offer free coffee with breakfast. The Boffalo card gives you a discount. After using this card for the past 3+ months for breakfast at least twice a week, you can no longer take advantage of this.

In other words, you will get the free coffee with breakfast with no card, or have to pay for coffee if you use the card.

Like I said, we have been using the card and getting free coffee with our meal for over 3 months without any problems, now they tell us the free coffee is a "promotion".

I don't understand why you would cross them off your list. It's sorta like...you go to Kohls, buy a blouse at 30% off. You wear it, enjoy it...then all of a sudden you see the exact blouse in the clearense rack at 80% off. That doesn't make Kohls bad.....

Not the same at all. You're missing the point.
Just sayin' after three months don't not honor a discount when you have been up until today. The discounts are until July 2013.
Nothing on the card says they end January. My comment was for people who have this card and expect a discount. If you don't have the Buffalo Card, it doesn't apply to you.

We were not the only ones who were questioning this today.

I had breakfast there 3 days last week and there was no problem with the discount card.

The breakfast sandwich for $3.99 is very good!

If you notice on your receipt if you can come back within 7 days you can get a free milkshake. Just remember to order it before they total your subsequent check.

But aren't you still getting the free coffee? If its a promotion for all patrons to get free coffee, why not forget the card and just use the free coffee that everyone gets. ....or, are you wanting to get the free promotional coffee AND the free Buffalo card coffee? What am I missing here?

Buffalo card was a fundraiser by the high school. You paid $10.00 for this
yellow card and on it are listed local merchants that will give discounts on services.. Its a good deal and the card pays for itself. You may have seen people with it. It's a win/win thing.

These are discounts agreed upon by the merchants when they sign up
for this. Its good advertisement and I'm sure draws business. To agree to this and not honor it is wrong.

My guess is they have a new manager and he doesn't know.

PeggyD: I am making a guess that you are relatively new to The Villages because if you had been here about 5 years back you would have recognized that buffalo seem to disappear into thin air:D
