Best rental agency for owner
 

Other than The Villages, are there any good rental agencies for someone who has a house and wants to rent it to others?

There are older threads about this, but wonder if there is anything ne

I and others had horrible experiences with a Villages related company called JD Mgt a couple of years ago. They have since reorganized and added at least one letter to their name. Can't say what they are like now.

I then found the best property manager in the entire world! Her name is Vilas Hinkle. She is fully licensed (very important), a Villages resident, and takes care of a number of homes here. She is completely reliable, professional, and most accommodating to all of our guests. Renting when I'm not here is now easy and worry free.

Myself and a family memeber have used JD Management for the last three years. We've found them very reliable. Any problems that cropped up in our rentals were taken care of quickly to our satisfaction. I wanted to get the other side of the situation out there. I would not hesitate to use them again..

Another vote for Vilas. She really is one of the most ethical people I've ever met.

not sure vilas is taking on new clients

Vilas is retiring in January 2014. She is not taking any new clients regardless of how much they plead.
