between Sanford Airport and The Villages
 

Hello, heading out today to fly down to our home in The Villages. We are flying into Sanford Florida airport for the first time. Flying with my sister and friend who has never been to The Villages. BUT, what is between Sanford and The Villages. I already looked up a Pubix since we will miss the 9p.m. cut off by the time we arrive. SO, restaurants, where to stop for dinner on the way? I know several folks will search for this so it can be casual and fast, to slow and fun...thanks for the help.

Sweetbay is open til 11:00 pm

I am sure there are grocery stores and restaurants open on 441 as you go through Mt. Dora or Leesburg.

I am looking for a fun place to stop to eat that is not too expensive.
