Saw a love bug today!

Played golf with the ladies this afternoon at Redfish Run. As we were standing around talking, a black bug fluttered by. Thought it might be one of those black gnatty type bugs flying around lately. It was caught/landed on one of the ladies' legs and son of a gun, that red head showed us it was a love bug. Seems a bit early....but it was only one...an early "bloomer" I imagine.
Anyone else notice any love bugs?

I think it's too early for those. Don't they come out in April or May?? Then again in the fall??

Pooh, maybe it was trying to put an amorous hit on one of you ladies!

About May for those love bugs. But maybe the above normal temps has something to do with it?

I agree. This particular bug wasn't large...could have been a male. He just showed up early so he could have his pick of the lady love bugs when they arrive!
