Looking to buy
 

My dad and his wife live in Belvedere. I have visited 8 times in the past 6 years. My last visit was a week ago with my 20 year old daughter. We took 2 line dancing classes, went to 2 pools, saw the Monday night show at Katie Belle's, went to the Mama Mia sing along, visited all three squares, played Bunco and went house hunting 4 different days. We had a wonderful time. Both of us actually recognized some people from a prior visit at Bunco.

My husband and I are starting to look at houses to buy in The Villages. Our current plan is to buy a turn-key 3 bedroom 2 bath house in the next year and rent it out at least part of the time until we can move to The Villages. Ideally we would like to move in about 5 years (our youngest child is only a freshman in high school.) We would need to work before reaching normal retirement (Medicare if it still will exist) age.

I's always a good idea to start planning a reirement beforehand.

We will be listing our home, an expanded Gardenia, in the village of Piedmont. It will be sold turnkey and currently is rented through April 30th.
