Exercise (WATP) "club"?? Please Help on Proper Category, Moderator
 

This is for everybody who hauls themselves out of bed at the crack of dawn (and at other times during the day) to attend one of the MANY Walking Away The Pounds classes done to the DVDs of Leslie Sansone.

I had heard, what I thought was an idle rumor, that she was coming to The Villages. I did a little Internet research and, what do ya know....she IS coming!!!

A year ago, I emailed Barbara Vesco and suggested that she invite Leslie to the Villages because of the large numbers of us that WATP. I now wonder if she actually listened to me.

I will be there on SAturday for the walk at LSL.

I am obviously missing something. When Helene used to drag me out way too early to Odell Rec center for WOTP it was just a tape. There were some really fit girls in the front and I hid in the back.

I can't see why you'd need FIVE HUNDRED DOLLAR training to stand in front and make the rest of us feel.......well..;)

Mimi....yeah....me too...along with probably another 1000 or so Villagers!!! Still think they should change it to the Polo Field! LSL isn't large enough to accommodate the crowd I suspect will be there.

Yeah...I'm not sure what the whole $500 thing is about. If a REAL PERSON was leading the class, wouldn't that cut into her DVD sales?? LOL! Perhaps that's why it's $500...to compensate.

I go to Odell at 7:30 a.m. Thursdays (Leo's class). You should come on back! You can stand in the back row w/me! :icon_wink:

I wish I could be there. I love WATP. It looks like it is a reunion of current walk leaders and certification of new leaders. I believe they have walk leaders at some gyms. I know some of the people on her DVDs are walk leaders.

No she can't stand in the back row. It is all saved before 7 AM. I tried to get a spot there several times.
