Support group for spousal caregivers
 

Spousal Caregivers
I am new to this site and have lived in The Villages since May 2012. I haven’t seen among the activities and/or organizations a group devoted exclusively to spousal caregivers.

If there is such a group would you please let me know about it? If not, is there any interest in starting one. Caregiving for a chronically ill or disabled spouse presents unique challenges compared to caregiving for a parent or child etc.

I would be willing to take the lead in starting a group for spousal caregivers if one does not already exist. Please contact me.

Hi - you and I have corresponded about this before. I'm still interested. Looks like we are now a group of four. Is that enough to start meeting. I'll supply the Kleenex. I know I will need it.

I apologize to everyone that responded to my posting. I had a crisis followed by a lack of enthusiasm and later other business to attend to. But, I'm on track now and encouraged by the response we have received.
