Why are manhole covers round?
1. Easier to put a round cover on a round hole.
2. Easier to move a wheel shaped object. 3. Least area so less cost in metal and less weight. 4. Shape that does not fall into hole even though it has wider rim than hole. 5. Who cares? 6. Easier for Hulk to throw at invading aliens like frisbee. |
