Prayers Needed Desperately
 

I am asking you, my friends, to pray or offer positive thoughts for my son, his wife and daughter. Little Keva (which means beautiful child in Gaelic) was born 1/27. The hospital called to say that she was horribly deficient in thyroid enzymes. She has a condition called Congenital Hypothyroidism which occurs once in evey 4000 births, mostly in females. If they are not able to get her thyroid level up post haste, she will be developmentally and physically retarded. They medicine only comes in pill form so it must be crushed in s small amount of milk and given to her on an empty stomach. She then screams for the thirty minutes she must wait to feed.

This is a very challenging time for them and for her extended family. The first 3 months is the critical time so I woul love it if you could lift them (and her MIMI and PAPA) up in prayer. Thanks for anything you can do.

Prayers up for her, that she gets cradled in God's arms to be rocked at be at peace. Prayers up for her parents and you that God extends his comforting arms around all of you to bring you peace and comfort during this time. And, prayers up for all the doctors who are treating her that God guides them to do exactly what she needs to become a healthy and happy child who can live her life in God's light.
