Heat Lamp in Shower

Our Gardenia has a Roman (walk in) shower that can get chilly, especially on mornings like today. Has anyone replaced the std light fixture with a heat lamp? If so, was it a DIY or did you hire someone to do this?

Thanks

Or...neighbor put up an adjustable shower rod with a plastic curtain for those chilly mornings only.

we put up a shower curtain on a spring rod in our walk in shower in Hunters Creek, but it was much larger than this one. I will agree, it's pretty chilly getting out of the shower these last couple days with the cold snap we are having!

I should put a heat lamp in the bathroom!

I would think a small electric heater would work well. I use one in my home often, but I live in NC still. TV someday....

Had one in a previous home. Nice----sometimes. I think that Pike's Electric could install one if that is your desire.

Electric heater in a bathroom near the shower? I'd be concerned about the possibility of shocking oneself.

I agree electric space heaters close to water not good idea. Thats why there are few plug-ins in the bathroom. I like the shower curtain idea it will retain the heated air off the hot water. Heat lamp draws quit few amps. create alot of heat in the socket box. I would see if the socket box insulated for heat lamp especially if it's accidently left on.
