community watch driver jobs
 

I was thinking about applying for community watch driver position. I know the pay is low,does anyone have any experience working for the community watch and if so what does the job entail?thanks

I was there for about 6 months and, yes, the pay is ridiculously low for what the job requires. As a driver, you are sitting in that patrol truck for 8 hours a day so if you like driving around, that's the job for you. You also have to pick up the road kill and report problems to Dispatch. You go to the gates that don't have bathrooms (Like Shaw gate) and cover for the attendant for about a half hour. Drivers have a long, tedious and boring day stuck in that truck. Gate Attendants have it worse! You are either stuck at a gate for 6 hours that hardly anyone goes through or you are so ridiculously busy (Morse South for example), it requires 2 of you during a shift.

Sounds like a regular minimum wage job.

And the community watch do a great job.
