Any good or bad experiences with cataract surgeons in the area?

Need to have it done soon.

I recently had cataract surgery at St. Lukes Cataract and Laser Institute in the Tampa area and they recently opened a large location in the villages. Dr. Gil and his son are pioneers in Cataract surgery and the very best at what they do, and they also have a full range of other eye services. They have the best doctors working for them. I would highly recommend them.

St Luke's in Lake Sumter Landing is first class all the way. The very latest equipment, excellent staff and an outstanding surgeon in Dr. Kimberly Ireland.
No rush ever. The patient is number one.

Plus part of a very well known and established entity.

My friends all use Dr. Scott Holman at Lake Eye and are very pleased with him. Good results. I am going to him this month to be evaluated.

I can vouch for Dr. Zeini 100%. Very through and caring not to mention both my eyes came out better than expected. If I had to do it all over again I would go again with Eyes of the Villages.

Cataract Surgery
 

Had cataract surgery last June and July of 2012 at Ocala Eye Center with Dr. Jank. Very happy with the results. I have worked in the medical field for 25 years and have been very happy with the whole process beginning and end. Results have been the best. I have 20/20 in each eye and no need for glasses.
