Gravity fed water fill system for golf cart
 

I am considering installing a gravity fed water fill system for my parents here in TV. It is a 2009 Yamaha electric cart and they have a hard time with the automatic system where you need to hand pump the water. Can anyone who has this system give me feedback on how well it works. Is it as easy to use as the installer says it would be and could you recommend an installer?

I had it installed on my wiffes 2013 Yamaha. It works great gravity fed. Set the water container on top of your cart, plug in and watch the little wheel turn until it stops. Unplug and your done. Hope this helps.

I forgot to add, it was installed by the Villages golf cars.

Battery Boys installed one on our Cart and it works well. However you need to lift the water container and set it on top of the cart. That may be difficult if your parents find it a problem now to hand pump the water in their current system.

:) Exactly. I had one installed on our electric and it worked just fine---however the water container is a bit heavy to set on top of your cart. Subsequently, we went to a gas cart----which I highly recommend.

I have the water container on a shelf next to the cart. I don't need to touch it except to add water. No lifting except for the gallon jug of water when I refill the water container.

I see that you switched from electric golf cart to gas. Why? We're in the market soon to buy a golf cart. We're torn about which way to go. ???

Thanks for all the feedback. My father-in-law has no problem lifting, it is just the pumping he is not able to do. Seems like this system would work great for him.
