Last Night at the Nowhere Band Beatles Tribute
As I sat in the audience in the Savannah Center and listened to these talanted musicians play Beatles hit after Beatles hits for two sets non-stop, I remembered back when I was in high school back in the late 60s early 70s. My friend's mother used to drive us to high school and I can still remember the statement she made to us about the Beatles one day on the way to school. "They really don't sing music, real music lasts forever, 10 years from now no one will ever remember the Beatles or their music.
Little did she know. They played a ton of songs and still didn't hit them all as my wife and I could name some they did not play on our way home in the parking lot. |
we thought it was an excellent show. ed sullivan stuff was good.

Very good show last night and I agree that the Ed Sullivan part of the show was a great addition.

They were very good. I was a bit disappointed that they virtually skipped over Rubber Soul and Revolver which are considered The Beatles two best albums.
The guy playing John sounded like he had a cold or something. He was really struggling with a lot of the vocal parts early in the show. He was much better with the later period music. |
So sorry I am not there yet...I would have loved this!

I enjoyed it, too. The guy who played bass (Paul) had a beautiful voice.
