If that's a service snake it will need to wear a vest, otherwise it won't be permitted in stores or allowed to fly under owner's seat on airplanes.

I remember a cousin from Itasca, Illinois who caught a good sized lizard-- a collared lizard-- out in the Nevada desert near Reno, Nevada. http://suncharmers.com/ He had been visiting us with his family.
