...And...West to East again. ...the Baker family decided to sell MOST of their 1200 acres.... ...........................just go EAST on 44a FROM Buena Vista..... ....................... the homes are appearing like magic for nearly 2 miles. Starts behind the NEW Fire Station(the 7th fire station IN the Villages)...... ......at 44a and Buena Vista.......... ........continues on to the EAST side of Lake Deaton . Morse Blvd will connect to State Hwy 44 just EAST of Lake Deaton. Morse Blvd will then continue (using CR 468) to the TURNPIKE. An Interchange is being built at 468 and the Turnpike by the developer. The Villages Developer will have $25 million invested in this interchange. The Developer will then GIFT the $25 Million project to the State of FL. The State will then use this gift as their portion of the funds to get the Federal funds to complete the project. ( Toll Plaza etc.) |

from the leesburg daily commercial newspaper:
'Final plat approval for four new developments in The Villages, containing about 500 lots on 125 acres near Wildwood, were approved this week by Sumter County commissioners.' great info re the number of units to be built in each area - you can practicaly figure out where the villas, designers, premiers are gonna be built! http://www.dailycommercial.com/14march2013villages |
So does all this mean that when the Brownwood area is finished that there will actually be more? Our sales Rep had told us after Brownwood area was completed in the next 2 to 3 years that there would be no more new homes built in The Villages.
