China Buffet Shut Down
 

China Buffet in the Southern Trace Plaza was shut down by the Health Dept for code violations on March 18, 2013. A hand written sign said they had problems in the kitchen. I zipped around back and saw a Bates Exterminater car.

Just thought to give a heads up.

We live close to China Buffet. I've often wondered whether it's a good, clean restaurant. Thanks for the post.

So that is where my cat Herman is.

I made the mistake of going in there for dinner once. It SHOULD be shut down. The place was grimy and they had buffet bin after bin full of fried "things".....unidentifiable "blobs" coated in batter and deep fried.

I like most restaurants here and can tolerate some mediocrity, but this one was not fit for a dog (to eat in). To be butchered in.....well, that might improve the fare there.

Stopped going there several years ago. Ugh! Hope Bates Extermination can also cook.

And from that hand written sign you figured out the health department closed them down? Quite a detective ,or do we no for sure it was code violations.

Stopped eating there several years ago because it was so disgustingly dirty.

I ate there only one time and the food was pretty disgusting - even for Chinese buffet food.

Only one cockroach ? Last time I ate Chinese they had pigeons in cages in the back room.

Perhaps bates exterminators were making a food delivery

We went there a while back, and thought the place did not look sanitary, so we left. Also, bathroom was dirty, and did not have any soap. (My own opinion? If bathroom is dirty, then theres a good chance kitchen is also)

If there is no soap in the bathroom. Where are the employees washing their hands?
