Saw it a few weeks ago. Kinda had to force myself to laugh. 1 or 2 funny parts.
Nothing what I was hoping for.

Exactly. Think Melissa McCarthy is great in Mike & Molly (one of the few shows I watch). That's the main reason my wife wanted to see this movie.

Don't really go much - the last several movies we saw were, in my opinion lousy.

But as you said - different strokes for different folks.
