the paper says the Scottish Band plays at 4:45 at Sumter and at 6:30 at SS.

both squares having Scottish type bands afterwards until 9.

If you like to hear the bagpipes this is the night to be in the Squares. I love the bagpipes, love the soulful wailing and when they play Amazing Grace I melt. On the other hand, my other half likes the bagpipes from a distance, a great distance. I'll be there for sure.
