skyguy79 04-06-2013 03:39 PM

Maybe it's a new dance craze going on at Crispers get togethers. Seriously, looks like there's a bunch of us that don't know what a forum jump is! Inquiring minds want to know dag-nabbit!!! :rant-rave:

I hate missing something I never knew I was missing.
I now it's back and I still miss it.

Well, thanks. But I always go to new posts, so they are all mixed together.

Somebody... anybody? What is a forum jump? Bill & Brillo? (a link will be fine :evil6:

I see a little drop down menu called Forum Jump( just below the box that you type a new message in) I guess that's it.

champion6 04-06-2013 05:25 PM

I'm very glad it's back. I missed it, too. Thanks!

rayschic's got it. When you're viewing threads in any forum, you'll see that drop down menu by scrolling clear down - it's very near the bottom. Click on the small arrow and a list of all of the TOTV forums will "drop down". Click the one you want to switch to then click the Go box.

and just what would this do for me??? ok, so I found it and clicked on it and now understand why I never missed it!!!

Bill-n-Brillo 04-06-2013 07:13 PM

Some people like to use it, others don't. Me? I've never used it. I think it depends somewhat on how you prefer to navigate the site/read new posts.

Bill :)

I find it useful if you want to start a new thread in a different forum than the one you are in. You go to the Forum Jump and select the forum and enter your new thread.

Or if you want to go to a specific forum to look up an old post that is no longer in the New Posts, you can use th Forum Jump.

And yes, there are other ways to get there but I am used to this way.
