LOL, don't laugh but I did bring one of my doggies one time when I couldn't take the time to bring him home and make it in time for the lunch. It worked out fine, everyone loved him and we were outside that day.

BTW, I met a lovely lady last night at Waterfront Inn who is a lurker on here, sorry I can't remember her handle. It was sweet, she recognized me from my picture. She told me she might come to Crispers on Friday, and I am urging her to come so I can talk to her again.

So if she's reading this,,, yes, I will be there. See ya all later.

We have a conflict but still should be able to "hang" for an hour or so.

I have never attended Crispers meetings, not that I did not want to, it was just never an option, but it might be sometime. Along those lines, I have a question as to how one would be welcome/perceived in person as compared to how they are perceived to be online, or maybe there is no different - I don't know.

I was a fascinated lurker for several years, then I began to post "I don't want to ruffle anybody's feathers" type posts, then one lonely night I posted all my "heart and sole" type posts, then I hid for a while and let OleDave post for me, then recently I have posted some "I really have something to say" type posts. But basically, in person, I'm really just a pretty nice person who enjoys good company and good conversation.

So I guess what I asking is - how is one perceived and welcomed - as they are online or as they are in person? Or maybe there is no difference.

I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I find that when I go to Crispers, I can't remember the online personalities of the posters I meet there. Everyone just goes and has a very cordial, friendly time. So don't worry! Just come and meet and talk to people.

I'm sorry I can't be there this month. Hopefully next month before we go home for the summer.

Will try to make the tail end. I am playing golf at 2 so perhaps it's just wishful thinking!

I agree! It's nice to meet everyone in person! And what a good group of people I have met over the past year! Sorry you can't make it CFrance. See you next month.

We usually hang out until 5:00 so if you can make it come on out!
