Do home owners in TV golf for free (no additional fees)?

Can people that do not own a home in TV (people that live in that general area) join the TV country club and golf at TV's golf courses?

Residents may play the executive (nine hole) courses free, though they must pay a trail fee to ride their cart on the course, or to rent a pull cart. The country club courses are open to anyone, with non residents paying a higher greens fee. http://golfthevillages.com/images/winterRates2012.pdf

As posted above, non-residents can play the championship courses, but the fees are significantly higher than rates outside TV so I suspect there is little outside play except for guests of residents. A lot of villagers actually play more outside TV during the winter than inside because of lower rates. It's just less convenient than taking your own cart to play.

An option for executive courses is to pay a fee of approximately $141 per household per year. This covers all your trail fees for the year, otherwise you'll have to pay $4.00 per round per player. Another option on executive courses is to walk or pull your own cart for no charge.

We now have 34(?) executive courses(9 hole) and 12 Championship courses(18 hole some with three nines) here on campus.

We have country club restaurants for all championship courses.

We have dozens of swimming pools. Some for all ages and some for only above 30 years of age.

We are something to see.

And that is just to start with.

i am considering moving there but i hear that is not always easy to get onto the courses and we would want to play daily what can ou share with us about a possible problem getting tee times ?

Depends on when you care to play. We are in TV in February and March, the busiest time of the year, and we play almost every day. We like to play early in the day so 7:15 tee times (shortly after the sun comes up in winter) are about what we shoot for, and usually get a tee time around then up to 8 AM. If you are willing to play later in the day, say 4:30, there are usually tee times available on most of the courses after assignments are made. If you want to play between 9:00AM and 2 PM, you will often come up empty. I played with a couple in February who generally played twice a day. They signed up on the computer system for an early tee time, then picked up a late afternoon tee time from those available inside three days in advance. I am told that tee times outside of the busy winter months are relatively easy to get. My advice is get signed up for the computer system and learn how to use it for the best results.
