CYV and birdcages
 

Has anyone went to the Architectural board to inquire about adding a birdcage over the side yard of a Courtyard Villa? Or has anyone seen a CYV with a birdcage over the side yard (between two houses)? I have only seen them in the back of CYVs or at the side on corner lots. I would like to put one on the gate side as close to neighbors wall as possible.

My neighbor just put in a $9300 birdcage on his CYV corner backyard. He had to dog-ear the corner inward leaving some of the patio exposed because it can be no closer than 10' from the wall. That would pretty much eliminate your side yard fencing.

If there is a 10 ft restriction, I am out of luck. Thanks!
