Cat sitter vs boarding

Has anyone used Kitty Camp & Resort in Wildwood? It was recently featured in business news. We are new to here and need a reliable person or place for our older cat.

Myamae:

I've been intrigued for several years with Kitty Camp & Resort, as well as couple of others who advertise "kuxury resorts" for your pet!

I strongly urge you to first ask your neighbors if any one will take care of Your Cat? After my first experience [some 8 years ago] when I went away for a few days and hired an "outsider" to come and take care of my friend, I was severely reprimanded by at least three neighbors who told me that they'd have done the job for "love!"

Now, one or another of them sits on The Cat, and I sometimes reciprocate by sitting on theirs.

And, you know full well that The Cat will much prefer being in his/her own environment than in some sterile kennel!

I agree Steve.

Plus our guys haven't ever been exposed to any other cats and I am a little concerned about their "catching" something.

Redwitch who posts on here is a wonderful cat sitter. She truly loves animals.

We have several cats and have frequently had Redwitch (Dee Parsons) sit them while we are gone. She does a great job.
