KGL Landscaping
 
We want to thank KGL Landscapers for all their hard work and helping us get our property the way we envisioned it. We love the Palms and plants they chose. Nice color and its not overcrowded. KGL listened to what we wanted and designed it on the computer for us to review before they started. We highly recommend KGL Landscaping and will use them for all our landscape projects. They came when they said, and did a great job! Their number is 352-347-8307 We couldn't be more pleased.

That's nice they did such a great job for you. Just goes to show that is why there are various opinions and experiences here and with dealing personally with businesses that must be considered in the final analysis. For us, we found them arrogant, very pricey, and not willing to look at options for wasting their time so we went with someone else and am very happy we did. McGowan was very good, reasonable, listened, and excellent followup.

Just as every homeowner has certain requirements they must have met in their search for the business that fit their project needs, every company has the same requirements. That's the beauty of our free enterprise. Not every company can work with every homeowner. Not every homeowner can work with every company. We are happy that you were able to find the perfect company that met ALL of YOUR expectations. McGowan is a great solid company. We have our customers that we work with and are willing to work with what we have to offer. We offer great value, we follow up, and take good care of the homeowners that choose to hire us to do their landscape projects. I don't feel we were arrogant, just blunt, with you on what we could do for the price you were asking. We are honest and don't try to just be a yes man and sell things to you that we feel you wont be happy with in the end result. Most homeowners find this style refreshing. That is what we are known for. Im sorry if you got offended. We did however explain to you that we would take measurements and get back with you then left. We did not get the chance to give you a price or an estimate. The next day you already had the company you hired working on your property. Its okay not to see eye to eye on things in your search for the company that suits your needs.

And so true, not every customer will work well with every vendor/contractor and vice versa. We all have choices.

We just had a great experience with KLG. They were faster than the other 3 I called. I had a very small budget and they made it work very well. We love our new yard and will be calling them again in the future. They have stopped by to check up on the plants. They certainly gave me the most bang for my buck.

Thank you for the nice reply. We wish you the best in your business. As you said, we just did not hit it off with your responses but that is ok. Every business has their ways of doing business and handling potential clients. There are always more than two sides to a story. We took it by your tone and comments as no way we want to waste our time on a bid that you felt would be way over our budget. That is your prerogative. We even commented on that is ok if you are way too high. Thank you for your time. You were ready to leave but your wife said lets take some measurements anyway. We went in for a minute and when we came out you were gone. No .. goodbye, thank you but no thanks, and you didn't take any measurements. Thus how would you have supplied a bid? The other four bids were within or very close to our budget and took the time to listen and make suggestions.
Looking at your work we saw no reason not to like what your business puts in for landscape. It appears to be very well done. Obviously that is why we asked for your bid. We can not comment on any other part of your business.
We wish you well and only replied on what we experienced. The other four, although very busy, took the time to explain things, and did not come across the same way, plus provided a bid. Again, we are not here for a debate, just what we perceived.
