Just closed on the house yesterday. From Northern Virginia. Can't wait to start life at the Villages. I am also the first Florida representative for Dachshund Rescue of North America.

Welcome to TV and Fernandina! We have been here since November and except for the construction traffic are so pleased with everything and everyone in TV. TOTV is a great resource for us newcomers.

Welcome. We are also in Fernandina and in Northern Va. Where in Northern Va are you from? We come to TV about a week a month.

Welcome to another DC area ex-pat.... you will love being able to go out and get around at any hour of the day. We are certainly not limited to just the 10am-2pm window for low traffic that is the norm for DC.

Congratulations! We closed in January on Birdsong Place. We are not full time yet, but will be in 19 months when we retire. Can't wait. Come down (from NY) whenever we can. I love Fernandina! Whenever we are there the people and the energy in that area are great. :pepper2:

We are on Partridge Ave. Met two neighbors who seemed very nice and gave us a tour of their respective homes, which was helpful in that we were still undecided about which model to build, and they each had one of the models we were considering. In any event, I have a vague recollection that you and I chatted before. Looking forward to meeting in-person.
