Beware of gift card promise from Prism at Century Link

I ordered Century Link's Prism in September 2012 with the promise of a gift card. I have contacted the company monthly since the first waiting period of 3 months to receive this gift card. I have yet to see a resolution even though each phone call includes a new promise to send the card within the "next six weeks." So far it has been 8 months since the order was placed.
I have noticed that Century Link is offering this promotion again, please be aware that the gift card promise is not always the gift card reality.

I did get a $100 gift card from Prism

That should be the least of your worries. I could not get a good signal from them and, after 5 months, switched back to DirecTV. And yes, I did receive the gift card. Do an online chat. Maybe that will help.
