Full time versus part time

Does anyone have a rough idea as to how many Villagers are full time residents of TV?

My best guess is 55% are full-time. I've heard 60 and 50%.

Thank you.

In our social group (about 36 cottage homes in Tamarind Grove) 75% are full time.

Do you think people in larger homes are more likely to be full time while folks with smaller villa style homes would more likely have two homes and get away for the summer? (That's a very long sentence.)

Owning two homes can be expensive; so I'd assume that most Seasonal Residents tend to have a smaller home in TV than Frogs. When we had a Courtyard Villa, the majority of our neighbors were Seasonal Residents. A lot of Frogs that I know have over 2,000 SF with summer kitchens and pools. Now we're in a home that is a bit larger than our CYV. Our neighbors are a mix of Frogs and Seasonal.

i think your first house is what you can pay cash for..or at least that was our plan

In the older areas I think the ratio is 70/30 or better.

More of the owners that were snowbirds now live in their homes permanently.

NO. Could be just the opposite.

Think it is strictly ruled by finances - you buy what you can afford. Plenty of high dollar homes sitting empty through the summer.
