I'm in Michigan too! Sleeting, twenty mile an hour winds, low is supposed to be 28 degrees tonight! Planned on grilling out for Mother's Day but will be wearing winter coats to do so!
Moving down to The Villages full time in July!

snowing for mother's day

I just heard from my sister is Alpena, Mi. She just got home from visiting me in the Villages . She said it was so cold and snowing ! I said that is why we left. It is beautiful here, just went for a golf cart ride, I had to rub it in a little.... ( I want her to move here, so I had to give her a little push.)

I remember one Mothers Day in Rochester Hills Mi. probably around 96 that I was on the riding mower and there were snow flakes falling. Very strange - so glad to have come south!

At least there are no flies here. I think they have frozen to death!

I remember a fourth of July in West MI in the '80s when we had the furnace on.
