does anyone in the villages own a golden doodle ,my question is where do you bring them to get groomed..so they don't come out looking like a poodle ?

I take mine to Ashley at Nature's Pet Day Spa on 441. Its in the Baylee Shopping Center, right by Little Joey's.
She does the best job of any groomer I have used in the area and will listen to what you want.
She does keep them just about 4 hours and although I live in the south end of The Villages, and it's sometimes inconvenient, I will take him and hubby will pick him up.
We get charged $75.00 and ours never has any mats and he usually gets bathed every 2 to 3 weeks.
I'll send you a PM with my # if you would like to stop by to see him. He was just done about 2 weeks ago.

This is my black Goldendoodle Xander, with his best friend the white Goldendoodle Rocky, with our Chihuahua Odie. They were all at out house as Rocky gets extremely upset during storms, so knowing his parents were at work, we went to get him so he had company to take his mind off the storm. They were all just waking up from a nap. What a photo!!!
All three were rescues.

We purchased Portia from a breeder in NY state.. yes its golden and standard poodle mix..lovable dogs...
