If you purchase a $250K courtyard villa or a $250K designer, are the bonds similar in price?

No. Bond is based on total cost of the infrastructure for a village divided by number of units in the village.

Cost of the home is immaterial.

Courtyard villa bond will generally be lower as there are more units than a designer village.
