rose garden
 

I have a friend from out of town coming in next week. He grows roses as a hobby and I would like to show him some rose gardens in TV. Does anyone have suggestions??

Unfortunately, most of the roses in these parts are knockout roses or carpet roses.... pretty generic... nothing an avid rose enthusiast would find outstanding.

To see many beautiful floral garden displays, you might consider a visit to Disney World... their gardens are very creative and of course impeccably kept.

I know there is a rose club in TV. You might want to get in touch with them and maybe they can steer you in the right directions. I have seen some very nice rose gardens (not knockout) here in TV. Good Luck

You might like to contact Nancy Stout @ roses2smile@earthlink.net - she is the chair for TV Rose Club and has magnificent roses, she lives off B.Vista above Glenview. She is a believer that roses are to be shared and I know she would be happy to show your friend around her garden, she also knows the other big time roses growers in TV and would probably set something up with them for you.

Nice to know there is a rose club in The Villages and some private rose gardens to boot! Love those Master Gardeners!
