We have it and have been very pleased. Wheenever I have a question, I either visit or call the Sumter Landing office. Preferred Care Partners is the only Advantage plan accepted by The Villages Medical Centers (Colony). Their docs are all on the plan. I am In The process of transferring my health care to Colony.

We have it and so far are pleased with the Medical - there are different plans within PCP - check them out - one is an HMO

Go to Sumter Landing office. Someone will meet with you and answer all questions.

I love getting back $95 every month that's taken out of your social security.

Best deal in town.

I got my parents signed up last year as I was told it was the "best deal in town"... unfortunately we found the preapproval required for just about everything caused alot of problems, very slow and the doctors limited... now have them on the broader plan within Preferred Care that costs about $100 more a month... I do agree that the customer service is great, just wish you did not have to contact them so much! PS - also found the book they give you was nowhere near complete as to who takes their plan.

Jimbo - guess it depends on a person's medical needs. I have a 94 year old mother in memory care with no health problems and was able to sign her up for PCP. It is saving her about $400/month compared to the United Health Care Medicare Supplement she was on. So I believe it is "the best deal in town" if you don't have many medical issues.
Should have said that in my original post.

According to their website, they also participate in the Advantage plan offered by UnitedHealthcare Accepted Insurance by The Villages Health

Preferred Care Partners IS owned by United Health Care. Is there a second Advantage plan owned by United Health Care? If so, I've never heard of it.

Yes, there are two - AARP MedicareComplete Choice Essential (regional PPO without drug coverage) and AARP MedicareComplete Choice Plan 2 (regional PPO with drug coverage). More info here: https://www.aarpmedicareplans.com/la...age-plans.html
