New Home Warrantee Work Expiration
 

Does everyone know that all issues associated with warrantee must be completed PRIOR to your anniversary date of closing? Thanks to Frank DeAngelo Home inspections, I found out I did not have enough time (1.5wks)to:cold: get the inspection and complete the associated repairs. His integrity did save me the cost of the inspection. I had a few glaring defects, visible to my eye, that I could get completed prior to the anniversary. So all isn't lost. Probably in the mess of paperwork, it was noted about the time limit for repairs, as opposed to my thinking, that as long as I got the request for repairs in prior to the expiring date, they would take care of them. In so far as this is my 4th home I purchased here, I should have realized I should not have procrastinated. So be aware and learn from my screw-up.
